Built so every role on the team can contribute
Whether you're an artist iterating on assets without wrestling with version control, or an engineer automating workflows from the command line, Unity plugs into your team's tools and your production pipeline, not the other way around
Review the real game in context, together
Producers, artists, and QA review real game renders on the web or on device, not proxy screenshots. Share a link and feedback lands in live game context
Build and automate your tools with AI
An API and CLI built for agents to validate assets, fix issues, submit for review, and trigger builds
Bring in external collaborators, securely
Outsourced collaborators get role-based access. They work in their own tools, validate on device, and submit to your Version Control
Whether or not you're in the closed beta, here's how to dig in
Frequently asked questions
Unity connects your whole production pipeline in the cloud so every role on the team can reach the same project. Your work flows through a web dashboard, REST API, and Unity CLI, so artists, producers, QA, partners, and agents can review, contribute, and automate without everything living in the Unity Editor. Same production, more ways in.
Game studios running multi-discipline productions with developers, artists, designers, producers, QA, and external partners who need faster review cycles, safer outsourcing, and programmatic access to the project. Built for pipeline and technical leads who want a standard backbone instead of custom glue between the Editor, version control, and internal tools.
No. The Unity Editor remains the primary tool for deep authoring and engineering work. These workflows extend access to everyone else on the production and to the scripts, tools, and agents that connect through the web, the API, and the CLI. Developers keep using the Editor. The rest of the team gets in without an Editor install.
This service connects to your existing repository; no migration required. In closed beta, supported integrations are GitHub and Unity Version Control. Additional version control options are being rolled out later this year.
Yes, it is designed for studios and partners to build on top of it. Use the REST API and Unity CLI to connect internal tools, CI pipelines, DCC workflows, and AI agents to the same production. You define what runs while we provide the access layer, permissions, and project context.
The API and set of services run on Unity Cloud. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Access is controlled through project-level permissions with audit logging on writes. Unity maintains SOC 2 attestation. Role Based Access Control lets you bring in external collaborators without exposing the rest of the project.
At general availability, it is offered on Unity Cloud (multi-tenant). For most studios, SOC 2 compliance and role-based access control meet enterprise requirements without dedicated infrastructure.
Options for private cloud and data residency are on the long-term roadmap. If your organization has strict on-prem or VPC requirements, contact sales to discuss what's available today and what's planned.
Closed beta is free of charge. Pricing for general availability is still being finalized. Expect a combination of subscription access and cloud consumption for storage, compute, and data transfer. Details will be published before general availability. For enterprise pricing conversations before GA, contact sales.
Sign up for the closed beta on this page. Access opens on a controlled scale. We will confirm eligibility and next steps by email. During closed beta, these services are not yet supported for production use. Closed beta is free of charge.
