Yes, you can upgrade your subscription to an available higher tier via your Unity ID. When you upgrade, you will begin a new commitment term, and any prepaid amount remaining from the original term will be credited towards your upgrade payment.
Yes, your subscription will automatically renew with the same commitment term and payment frequency as your original subscription, unless you change your renewal settings or plan option in your Unity ID before your next scheduled renewal date.
If your subscription originally included different renewal options, you will continue to have those options while you stay subscribed.
Please note: annual prepaid Plus subscriptions with monthly renewal options will auto-renew at the monthly rate, not the annual prepaid rate divided by 12. You can easily change your renewal settings in your Unity ID to renew as an annual prepaid plan instead.
In order to build and deploy to closed platforms such as Nintendo Switch, Sony PlayStation, Google Stadia, and Microsoft Xbox an active Unity Pro subscription (or a Preferred Platform license key provided by the respective platform holder) is required. You will also require approval from each platform holder in order to develop for their platforms. Contact them directly for more information.
