Unite Melbourne 2016: Keynote Speakers Unveiled – Bringing Excitement and Expertise from Unity Creators

Oct 12, 2016

MELBOURNE, VICTORIA AU - October 12, 2016 - Unity Technologies, the leading platform for creating games and experiences in 2D, 3D, VR and AR, is proud to bring this global perennial event to Melbourne. Continuing to explore the forefront in gaming, programming and game design and development, the organisers of Unite Melbourne 2016 are proud to present David Helgason, Founder and Executive Vice President of Unity Technologies as part of this year’s keynote. Also amongst the veterans of this global entity, Vice President of Engineering Brett Bibby and Head of Education for Asia, Evan Spytma will be in attendance for the opening Keynote, as well as other talks.

As a continually growing event in popularity and size, Unite Melbourne 2016 is both honoured and eager to introduce a second keynote speaker to the stage – Andrew Fray. Andrew works remotely in Birmingham for Spry Fox in Seattle, and has previously held programming and engineering roles at entities such as SEGA and Codemasters. On top of his Keynote appearance, Andrew will take part amongst the day's talk schedule.

As part of Melbourne International Games Week, Unite Melbourne 2016 will yet again expand its focus gathering developers, artists, publishers, training providers, and Unity enthusiasts from across the globe. Unite Melbourne 2016 registration is now open, and more details about the event are available here.

Drawing from a millions-strong international community, the Unite conference provides a diverse selection of information and programming for attendees of all kinds -- from students, indie developers, to AAA studios -- promoting hands-on learning, networking, and discovery.
