Genies x Unity: Bringing AI avatars and UGC tools to developers

Through our partnership with Unity, we’ll be making our Smart Avatar Framework and UGC tools available to developers everywhere, opening the door to a new wave of identity-driven games. Our tools will be available on the Unity Asset Store later this year, followed by a deeper integration into the Unity Editor in 2026.

Bring AI Avatar Systems Straight into Gameplay: Our avatars come equipped with memory, personality, and behavioral AI - we call them Smart Avatars. They can act as quest-givers, co-op companions, or even evolve based on player choices. You can develop your own narrative-driven Smart Avatars to integrate as dynamic AI NPCs, and even let your players create and play with their own persistent Smart Avatar companion. Genies’ Smart Avatars are intelligent, expressive, and adaptive game-ready characters that can engage in real-time conversations and participate in dynamic gameplay with players. They think, learn, express, and interact in a way that makes them feel alive.

Drop In-Game UGC Creation Tools Right Into Your Project: Give your players creative power with Genies’ AIGC tools. This unlocks the ability for them to generate their own avatar, fashion, prop, or digital goods. A player types “neon mushroom umbrella” or “lava tuxedo,” and it appears - fully modeled and automatically compatible for them to equip to their avatar, creating more emergent and personalized gameplay.

Cross-Game Avatar Identity, Powered by Genies Framework: With Genies Login, a player’s avatar, fashion, and inventory carry across any game built with our framework. The more utility a player has for their avatar, the more they’ll create, play, and invest in it, building lasting connections to the games they spend their time in and the rewards they earn.

Access Genies’ Partner Network to Build with Top IP: Tap into our network of game, entertainment, and celebrity partners to bring recognizable avatars and assets into your game, or publish directly into each IP’s own UGC-powered platform, known as a Party.
