Unity Technologies Brings Unity-Authored Games From the Union Portfolio to Tizen(TM)-Based Platforms

May 2, 2013

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - May 2, 2013 - Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity multi-platform engine and development tools, today announced that Unity-authored games from the expansive Union catalogue, Unity's games syndication group, will be made available on devices based on the Tizen™ operating system for tablets and smartphones.

"We are very happy to be putting Union games onto new Tizen operating system based mobile devices," said Oren Tversky, VP of Union, Unity Technologies. "It's awesome to be able to empower the Unity development community with more ways to bring their games to new audiences and monetize their content."

"The addition of Union games for the Tizen store further expands the growing catalog of quality Tizen games," said Tizen Board member Christopher Croteau, Managing Director of Intel's System Software Division. "Union offers developers the opportunity to publish well-known games and apps for the growing Tizen ecosystem."

Platform and technology partners for Union, including LG TV, Roku, BlackBerry, Nokia, Sony, and Lenovo, have all taken advantage of Union's constantly expanding games catalogue. To see a gallery of Union games, please visit https://unity3d.com/company/union/showcase.
