Bring 3D ideas to life—fast
Unity Studio helps teams move beyond static assets and complex development tools. Import 3D data, build interactive applications, and share them for faster reviews and iterations — no C# required, no heavy software installs.
Interactive 3D, without the complexity
Drag-and-drop 3D creation. No code required
Build product demos, training scenes, walkthroughs, and configurators using a drag-and-drop editor anyone on your team can learn. No install. No developer required.
Faster feedback loops across teams
Annotate directly in 3D scenes, collaborate in real time, and share via URL. Reviews, decisions, and stakeholder alignment all happen faster.
Your data, your pipeline
Works with the 3D data you already have. Import CAD, BIM, and 70+ formats, manage everything in Unity Asset Manager, and scale into the Unity Editor without rebuilding your pipeline.
Start visually, scale technically
Start in Studio, prototype visually, and share instantly. When projects need to scale, export directly to the Unity Editor. Your dev team gets a head start, not a rebuild.
A faster path to interactive 3D
Unity Studio is built for domain experts who work with 3D data — designers, engineers, trainers, and technical artists who need a faster path to interactive 3D without complex development workflows.

From concept to interactive prototype
Import CAD, design interfaces, tweak materials, and share a web link before your next meeting. No developer, no build process required.

Bring product demos to life
Combine drag-and-drop logic with UI tools to build product demos, configurators, and visualizations—then embed them directly on your site.

Build interactive training apps quickly
Drag and drop assets, build guided experiences with UI instructions, and push live updates without a rebuild. Your L&D team owns the content from day one.

Design reviews without the rework
Build interactive 3D viewers, annotate directly in the scene, and share via link. Catch misalignment early, before it becomes costly rework.

Unity Studio runs best with a stable internet connection and the desktop version of Google Chrome. Other modern browsers may work, but Chrome provides the most reliable experience. Unity Studio is designed for mouse and keyboard input, so we recommend using a mouse rather than a touchpad. Mobile browsers are not supported at this time. See the documentation for more details.
Yes. Unity Studio and the Unity Editor are designed to complement each other. Studio focuses on fast, browser-based creation of interactive 3D experiences, while the Unity Editor provides advanced development capabilities for complex applications.
You can export any Studio project directly to the Unity Editor. Teams start quickly in Studio, prototyping and validating visually, then extend projects with advanced functionality in the editor when production workflows demand it, giving development teams a head start without rebuilding from scratch.
Support for bidirectional workflows between the Unity Editor and Studio is on the roadmap. More details will be shared as this capability becomes available.
Yes. Unity Studio is built for team-based workflows:
- Real-time collaboration - multiple people can work together in the same project at the same time
- Annotations - add comments and feedback directly in 3D scenes, synced with Unity Asset Manager
- Instant sharing - share experiences with teammates and stakeholders via a simple web link
Together, these turn 3D from a single-user task into a shared workflow so teams can review, iterate, and make decisions faster.

While Unity Studio currently does not support self-hosted deployments, support for private cloud environments is on the product roadmap. Self-Hosted Deployment is already available for Unity Asset Manager.
Self Hosted deployment supports a dedicated, isolated cloud environment within a public cloud provider that allows organizations to control network configuration, access rules, and data isolation for sensitive workloads.
Unity Studio operates as a fully managed cloud service hosted on Unity’s secure infrastructure. Projects, assets, and published experiences are stored and delivered through Unity-managed cloud environments designed for scalability, performance, and security—without requiring customers to manage infrastructure directly.
Organizations with strict networking or deployment requirements may benefit from Unity Industry solutions or enterprise engagement options, which can provide additional flexibility depending on project needs.
Customers with specific security or compliance requirements should contact Unity representatives to discuss available options.
You can submit bug reports or product feedback directly from within Unity Studio, using the “Report a bug” or “Send feedback” buttons.
When working in a project draft, open the main menu (hamburger menu in the Hierarchy panel) to access:
- Report Bug
- Submit Feedback
These tools allow you to quickly share issues, suggestions, or feature requests with the Unity Studio team.
Your feedback helps improve the product and shape future updates.
