Frequently asked questions
You need to purchase a subscription to Unity Forma. In addition, you need access to the Unity Editor and Pixyz Plugin, which are included with Unity Industry.
You can use WebGL and/or Unity’s cloud streaming service, Furioos. Both provide seamless user experiences without requiring consumers to download a plug-in or other software to interact with your 3D product configurator.
Furioos is best suited for streaming complex real-time 3D projects that require high levels of interactivity and peak visual quality. Depending on your budget, the configurator’s complexity and interactivity, and other factors, WebGL is an alternative option.

No. Unity Forma is an extension of Unity but it does not require any coding skills to use.
You can see the Unity Forma roadmap here. At this time, AR and VR publishing is possible, but it must be executed in Unity Pro mode. Official AR and VR support within Unity Forma are planned for a future release.
