ARPDAU

What Does ARPDAU Mean?

ARPDAU stands for Average Revenue Per Daily Active User. It is a metric for measuring the success of your app monetization strategy in terms. ARPDAU is calculated by dividing the ad revenue from ad campaigns, in-app purchases and similar metrics on a given day by the number of unique active users on that day. Looking at ARPDAU over time allows you to identify the effect of ad campaign or IAP changes on revenue. Because it’s an average, ARPDAU is not affected by fluctuations in your user base of Daily Active Users (DAU), giving you a clear metric of daily app monetization performance.
