Helping Unity users impacted by COVID-19

In It Together

Welcome to our COVID-19 update page -- a place where we’ll update Unity users on happenings as soon as they happen.

These are challenging times as the coronavirus (COVID-19) impacts every citizen, country, and culture around the world. It’s tough to hear about how many people have been affected. Our thoughts go out to each and every one of you in these trying times.

At Unity, employee well-being and safety is priority #1. We’re working to ensure each one of our employees gets the support they need as we transition to this new environment. We’re reminding our employees of two things: one, family first and two, we’re “In It Together.”

“In It Together” is one of our Unity company values -- and it’s a value that has truly come alive not only within our own employee base but with our customers, creators, and the global community at large. We are all in this crisis together. And we’ll get through it together.

As such, we’re working to ensure that creators’ access to Unity continues. Our support teams are ready and able to help should issues arise. Our product teams are focused on creating the next chapters of Unity. Our education team is providing new content and free access. Sales and Business Development teams are continuing to support customers, now on Zoom. And our marketing teams continue to find new ways to inform customers about new products and happenings, including:

  • Making Learn Premium available to all users in perpetuity.
  • Create with Code Live series
  • Unity’s 2020 Roadmap Presentations, and much more...

We’ll update this page with new information as it comes in.

Be well. Stay healthy.

Join us in our support of the World Health Organization’s #PlayApartTogether campaign

#PlayApartTogether is an initiative backed by the World Health Organization (WHO) designed to create awareness and incentivize people to stay inside their homes by playing -- and creating -- games. We encourage all of you -- the amazing community of Unity game developers worldwide -- to get involved by activating your games and encouraging players to #PlayApartTogether. For those who want to play, there’s a ton of great games to choose from -- like Disco Elysium and Untitled Goose Game to Call of Duty: Mobile, Mario Kart Tour and more.

Together as a collective force, we can make an impact encouraging people to stay home, play games, and have fun in the process.
