6. How do I Nominate?
If you meet the eligibility requirements, you may submit a nomination for the Unity Awards by visiting the Awards Website between the Start Date and Deadline. Once you’ve created an account and logged in, or signed-in with an existing account, you will be able to submit your game, project, channel, or Asset (from the Asset Store) as a candidate to be considered for a Unity Award
Provided you have the given authority and meet the other eligibility requirements, you may nominate multiple different projects or creators. To do so, you must complete a new submission for each nomination as each nomination requires a separate submission. You may submit nominations for multiple different projects or creators; however, duplicate nominations for the same entry in the same award category will not be considered.
7. How may the Nominations potentially be used?
Nominations and other data, including personal data, that you submit in relation to this Program will be used by Unity and Unity Admins in accordance with these Rules, including:

- to confirm the details of your Nomination;
- to administer and execute this Program or a future program, including sharing it with Unity Admins or Unity Affiliates;

- as otherwise noted in these Rules or as necessary for Unity to meet its obligations under these Rules or applicable law.
8. How will Nominees be Selected and Notified?
All nominations will be reviewed to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria of the selected award categories. The eligibility criteria will be available on the nomination page. Eligible submissions will then be tallied and evaluated by an internal award committee, who will select up to eight (8) nominees per category.
The internal awards panel will be composed of Unity employees who are considered subject matter experts in their respective fields.
From the selected entries eight (8) will be selected as the final nominees based on a combination of number of entries received and internal vote. The final winners will be chosen by public vote, with exception to internal award categories which will be selected by a combination of internal vote and Unity Awards Panel judges review.
Potential winners will be contacted within thirty (30) days of the completion of judging via the email. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond as directed, refuses the award, or is found to be ineligible for any reason, such award may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Only one alternate winner will be selected per each award.
Unity reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to determine the eligibility of all nominations. Unity may refuse to accept or may disqualify any nomination at any stage of the Program if it is found to be in violation of these Rules or is otherwise deemed inappropriate or unsuitable for the Program. All decisions made by Unity, Unity Admins, or Unity Affiliates (including the internal award committee or panel judges) are final and binding in all respects.
9. Awards
The Unity Award nominees and winners in each category will receive digital badges to share on their storefronts and socials. They may also be eligible for potential global marketing opportunities in Unity channels including sizzle reels, blog posts, and speaking opportunities at Unity events. For clarity, these marketing opportunities are not a guaranteed component of the award. Selection for any such opportunity is determined by Unity in its sole discretion based on its marketing needs and is not guaranteed for any winner or nominee. The Unity Award is a non-monetary award of recognition, and there is no cash or other prize substitution.
All awards are non-transferable, and no substitutions of the awards for cash, alternate goods or services, or any other award is permitted. Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, Unity reserves the right to provide a substitute award of approximately equal value for any reason. All aspects of the awards not explicitly outlined in these Official Rules, including, but not limited to, the specific format of any digital materials, the timing of announcements, and the method of fulfillment, shall be determined by Unity in its sole and absolute discretion. All such decisions by Unity are final and binding.
10. When will awards be provided to the winners?
The award will be awarded within a commercially reasonable time frame. All members of a potentially winning category may be required to complete and sign additional documentation, such as non-disclosures, representations and warranties, liability and publicity releases (unless prohibited by applicable law), and/or tax documents, or other similar documentation in order to claim the award.
