EA's Richard Hilleman to Keynote Unite 2009

Oct 8, 2009

Tutorials, lab time, technical sessions and a great party.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - October 8, 2009

Unity Technologies - unity3d.com - the provider of the revolutionary Unity development platform for PC, Mac, Wii and iPhone today announced that Richard Hilleman, Chief Creative Director, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) will deliver a keynote at the upcoming Unite conference.

Following in the footsteps of Phil Harrison, industry luminary Richard Hilleman will talk about how new users, new devices and new ways of playing games are creating whole new groups of game players, even if they don't think they are "gamers".

Nicholas Francis, Chief Creative Officer of Unity said, "It's fantastic that we're able to attract people of Richard's caliber. With Electronic Arts getting more involved in web-based games, he is one of the people who have a great overview of how the landscape looks and what new opportunities there are."

Hilleman's enlightening keynote will follow the opening session 'A State of the Union' to be given by Unity founders Nicholas Francis, David Helgason and Joachim Ante.

Unite 2009 is a full blown, dual-track conference with a rich schedule giving attendees the chance to hear what the engineering team at Unity have planned for the future; attend master classes; receive hands-on lab time and find out just why there is such a rapidly growing following for Unity. And, in true Unity fashion, the conference embraces the growing community with attendees encouraged to participate in giving feedback to the team.

In addition to a packed program of tutorials, technical sessions and hands on lab time, the Unite conference this year features a special free to attend 1-day boot camp for Flash users to learn about transitioning to Unity.

Following Unity tradition Unite is a great event for making new business contacts, showing projects, making friends, learning how to do stuff bigger and better - on top of that the lunches, coffee and parties make sure that everyone makes the most of their days.

Unite takes place on October 27-30, 2009 at the Fort Mason Center in San Francisco, California. For more information and to book tickets to Unite visit - https://unity3d.com/unite
