UNITE Showcase

Official Rules and Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR GAIN A SPOT IN THE SHOWCASE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

The Made with Unity Showcase (the “Showcase”) is a chance for Unity Technologies ApS (“Unity” or “Unity”) and our customers to show off cool new projects made with the Unity platform. If your project is selected for the regional Showcase you applied for, then you will be invited to Unity’s Unite event (“UNITE”) to demonstrate your project in person to attendees. If selected, you agree that Unity may leverage your press kit in Unity’s marketing materials and your project will show the “Made with Unity” splash screen in your Showcase demo.

  1. DURATION.
  2. ENTRY. Throughout the year, Unity looks for opportunities to show off what our customers have been creating with the Unity platform. We ask for submissions of new projects, and then a panel of Unity judges selects projects that demonstrate innovation, experimentation, and creativity for inclusion in the Showcase.
    1. Steps. To submit your project, you must:
      1. Create a playable game using the Unity software (your “Project”); and
      2. Fill out Showcase submission form
    2. Content Restrictions.
      1. The Project must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement;
      2. The Project must not contain brand names or trademarks other than Unity’s in accordance with the Unity branding guidelines;
      3. The Project must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
      4. The Project must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
      5. The Project must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where the Project is created.
    3. Valid Entries. Each Project that complies with the Sections 2A and 2B will be referred to as an “Entry.” Entries that do not conform to these Official Rules and Conditions will not be accepted.
    4. Void Entries. Entries generated by any means that violate Unity’s Terms of Service, Unity’s Privacy Policy and/or these Official Rules and Conditions are void.
    5. Consent. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND CONDITIONS AND CONSENT TO UNITY’S PRIVACY POLICY. As always, your use of the Unity software and related services is subject to and exclusively governed by Unity’s Terms of Service.
  3. ELIGIBILITY. 5. UNITY’S CONTRIBUTION. In consideration for participating in the Showcase, each Showcase Participant will receive the following (collectively, the “Showcase Package”): For clarity, one Showcase Package is awarded per selected Entry. Multiple members of a team do not each receive a Showcase Package. If you are contacted by Unity that your Project has been selected for the Showcase, and you wish to accept the Showcase Package, then you agree that you will: Each Showcase Participant will be contacted via the email address included with their Entry. If your Project is selected but you cannot be contacted, or you do not respond as directed within three (3) days of attempted notification, refuse the Showcase Package or are ineligible to accept the Showcase Package, then the Showcase Package may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate Project.
