October 13, 2016 - Following the inaugural event in Los Angeles earlier this year, Unity Technologies is bringing its all-inclusive VR/AR industry event to Beijing, China with Vision VR/AR Summit Asia 2016. Designed for artists, engineers, programmers, designers, filmmakers, and more, the Vision VR/AR Summit Asia 2016 is a cross-industry event geared towards furthering the knowledge base of anyone developing virtual or augmented reality content, software, and hardware. Over two days in Beijing December 14-15, 2016, attendees will enjoy feature sessions and talks from technology leaders and innovators at Google, Unity Technologies, Samsung Gear VR, PTC Vuforia, Sony PlayStation VR and Microsoft Hololens, as well as a wide array of informative breakout sessions designed for all skill levels. To support both attendees and the region’s broader development community, sessions will be livestreamed.
Two Tracks and Sessions For All Skill Levels
The Vision VR/AR Summit Asia will feature many of the industry's biggest tech leaders, design innovators, and visionaries. More than 30 breakout sessions across two tracks will cover the latest technologies and best practices, with content designed to provide creators with the fundamental skills needed to create stunning experiences, games, and stories. Track One “VR Game Dev” will focus on practical how-tos and technical deep dives, with sessions on platform-specific development, making-of case studies and demonstrations of new tools and services. Track Two “VR Experiences” will offer creative inspiration with sessions on lessons learned, design tips, and best practices direct from artists and creators.
Vision VR/AR Asia Awards
Vision VR/AR Summit Asia 2016 will be the home of the Vision VR/AR Awards 2016 - Asia. Showcasing the most innovative virtual and augmented reality projects from around the world, both completed and works-in-progress, the Vision VR/AR Awards will be judged by a panel of global industry experts. Hands-on Showcase & Exhibit Hall
Attendees will have the opportunity to demo new and award winning experiences in the VR/AR Showcase, with expertly curated content from around the globe. Across from the Showcase will be the exhibit hall with dozens of exhibitors, giving attendees more opportunities to experience an array of content, software and solutions on the latest hardware. VR Masterclass Hosted by Unity Technologies
Unity is one of the most ubiquitous platforms for VR and AR content development.
