Our consultants serve in an advisory position providing project-specific recommendations, best practices, and advice, with tailored guidance based on your goals and challenges. Consultants may create assets or write example code to highlight a best practice, for example, but they do not contribute directly to the development of your project.
The consultant assigned to your team will require access to your project for your team to get the most out of your engagement (although alternatives can be offered if that is not possible). The amount of time each consultant spends with your team depends on the type of engagement you choose. Please see our Consulting Standard Services for more details.
Before any project files or documents are exchanged, we ensure both parties sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). Only files relevant to the engagement are requested and everything exchanged is deleted once the engagement is complete. Other options such as onsite engagements, using specific hardware, and the use of end-to-end encryption for file exchanges are available for added security.
After you contact us, we’ll set up some time with your team to discuss your goals and timeline. Once we have an understanding of the scope of work, we’ll assign an engineer whose expertise best matches the needs of your project. Note that while Unity has many experienced engineers, matching you with the right consultant for your project may still take time as our engineers may be busy on other projects.
