Time to get creating with Unity Muse
Now that you’ve subscribed to Unity Muse, it’s time to set up its features. Check out our in-depth tutorial here, or follow the instructions below.
Muse Texture
Texture and Sprite packages

Muse’s Texture and Sprite capabilities can be accessed in the Unity Editor

Download Unity 2022.3 LTS (or later) through the Unity Hub.

Create a new Unity project or open an existing one.

With your Unity project open, click the links below to begin installing a package in the Package Manager:

  • Install Muse Sprite package
  • Install Muse Texture package
  • In the Package Manager, click the Add button to complete the installation.

    For additional details on using these packages and their outputs in-Editor, see the Texture manual and the Sprite manual.

    Chat

    You can access Muse Chat on the web.

    Find Muse Chat in any browser at muse.unity.com.

    Log in using your Unity ID.

    Start chatting with Muse.

    Note: If you are unable to chat but have signed up for the trial or subscription, go to your profile and choose the Organization that subscribed to Muse.

    Behavior package (pre-release)

    The LLM component of Behavior is in pre-release, and may not be immediately available to all Muse subscribers. If you’re interested in trying out this product’s generative features, please sign up for our AI mailing and indicate your interest in Behavior. We’ll prioritize your place on the waitlist among other Muse subscribers.

    In the meantime, you can explore Behavior without AI capabilities inside the Unity Editor.

    Download Unity 2022.3 LTS (or later) through the Unity Hub.

    Create a new Unity project or open an existing one.

    Install the package via the Package Manager by using this link, or manually:

  • Open the Package Manager: Window -> Package Manager.
  • In the Package Manager, click the Plus button and select “Install package by name...”
  • Enter: com.unity.muse.behavior
  • Click the Add/Install button.

    To create a new Muse Behavior Tree:

    Right-click in your project tab to bring up the context menu.

    Select Create > Muse Behavior > Behavior Graph.

    Double-click the newly created asset to start editing.

    Animate (pre-release)

    Animate is in pre-release, and may not be immediately available to all Muse subscribers. If you’re especially interested in trying out this capability early in its development, please sign up for our AI mailing and indicate your interest in Animate. We’ll prioritize your place on the waitlist among other Muse subscribers.

    Once available to you, Muse Animate can be accessed in the Unity Dashboard.

    Click here to open Muse Animate.

    Sign in with your Unity ID – the same one you used to register for the Muse Animate beta.

    Start animating – you’ll be redirected to Muse Animate, where you can create your first animation.

    Assigning seats

    For Muse usage by multiple users in a single organization:

    Log in to your Unity ID portal.

    Assign seats to organization members, and make changes to your subscription as necessary.
