Who has access to Unity Cloud?

Unity Cloud is currently included in Unity Personal, Pro, Enterprise, and Industry subscription plans at no additional cost. As a subscriber, you can get started with Unity Cloud by logging in with your existing Unity ID.

What is Unity Cloud early access?

While most components of Unity Cloud are in general availability (GA) and are fully featured, some capabilities are still in development. Unity Cloud early access allows you to start exploring these new features and capabilities today, then try new features as soon as they’re available. Learn more.

What is the difference between “early access” and “beta”?

While most components of Unity Cloud are in general availability (GA) and are fully featured, some capabilities are still in development. Unity Cloud early access allows you to start exploring these new features and capabilities today, then try new features as soon as they’re available.

Some Unity Cloud services may also be tagged as in beta. Various components of these services are under development and may change significantly ahead of their commercial availability. While these services are tagged as being in beta, making them “Evaluation Versions” in our Terms of Service, you can use Unity Cloud services for commercial purposes during their beta periods.

Closed beta means we are collecting select feedback from a small group of users ahead of an upcoming release. If you’d like to participate and provide feedback, join our waitlist.

How do I get started with Unity Cloud early access?

You can get started with Unity Cloud by logging in with your existing Unity ID or creating a Unity Cloud account.

What will I be charged for during Unity Cloud early access?

Unity Cloud is available for free to all Unity subscribers during early access. Unity Cloud Personal subscribers will be limited to the existing free tiers of 10 GB for Asset Manager storage and will have access to 5 GB storage and 200 Windows build minutes for DevOps, without the ability to purchase more. Cloud Personal subscribers who wish to add additional DevOps seats or consume more build minutes and storage can upgrade their DevOps subscription. Pro, Enterprise, and Industry subscribers will not be charged for exceeding the tier limits for Asset Manager storage. Pro, Enterprise, and Industrial subscribers who are new to DevOps will not be charged for exceeding the tier limits for storage, build minutes, and concurrency. Early access for Unity Cloud is expected to end in early 2024, at which time you will be able to purchase the right tier for your organization and will be charged for consumption above your subscription. What Unity Cloud plans are included with my subscription?

Customers with a Unity subscription (Personal, Pro, Enterprise, Industry) now have access to the corresponding Unity Cloud plan:

  • Unity Personal → Unity Cloud Personal
  • Unity Pro → Unity Cloud Pro
  • Unity Enterprise → Unity Cloud Enterprise
  • Unity Industry → Unity Cloud Enterprise

Can I access Unity Cloud if I do not have a Unity subscription?

Anyone without an active Unity subscription is invited to explore Unity Cloud by creating a Unity Cloud account and activating a free Unity Cloud Personal subscription. Unity Cloud Pro and Enterprise plans will be available for purchase in early 2024.

Can I get Unity Cloud Pro and Enterprise standalone if I am not an existing Unity Pro or Enterprise customer?

Not at this time. Unity Cloud Pro and Enterprise plans will be available for purchase in early 2024.

If you’re new to Unity, you can sign up for a free Unity Cloud Personal subscription.

If I have a Unity Pro, Enterprise or Industry subscription, do I need to add more seats to get more Unity Cloud seats?

During early access, the only way to get more Unity Cloud Pro or Enterprise seats is to purchase Unity Pro, Enterprise or Industry seats.

Unity Cloud Pro and Enterprise standalone seats will be available in early 2024.

What is Unity Cloud pricing?

Pricing for Unity Cloud differs by subscription type; compare pricing and features of plans. For more details on pricing models, calculating storage costs, and storage quote management, read the Unity Cloud Billing and Pricing documentation.

Are Unity Gaming Services part of Unity Cloud?

Unity Gaming Services are part of the Unity Cloud ecosystem, but are not included in Unity or Unity Cloud subscription plans. Unity Gaming Services are free to start, with consumption and monthly-active-user based pricing so you only pay as your game grows. Learn more about Unity Gaming Services.
