Nike React: Game of Go
Game of Go is a location-based experience in Los Angeles created to celebrate the launch of the Nike React shoe. The installation gave people the ability to virtually race against one another while testing out the fit and feel of the sneakers. This virtual reality (VR) event attracted a lot of attention from the press and became the highest-scoring FWA project of all time.
Childish Gambino, known for being a global trailblazer, wanted an augmented reality (AR) app as a way to deeply engage his fans. The experience combines storytelling, music, and technology and allows fans to enter the Pharos world, which includes new songs and artwork by the artist himself.
Walmart VR Training Experience
Walmart upgraded the employee training at Walmart Academies nationwide by using VR. Based on the huge success of that program, all stores in the U.S. are now using Oculus VR headsets to provide a unified training experience to more than a million employees. They plan to use VR to train associates in three main areas: new technology, soft skills like empathy and customer service, and compliance.
ABC News Royal Wedding AR
Trigger created a temporary, unique Royal Wedding AR module, which was integrated into the existing ABC News app to celebrate the Royal Wedding in 2018. The module allowed ABC News to engage fans in the event by using AR to invite objects from the Royal Family into their living rooms.
The Celebrity Edge Access Tour app features beacon technology, AR, binaural audio, soundscaping, and 360º videos to give visitors access to restricted areas and showcase the ship’s original facilities. Passengers can explore more than a dozen innovative spaces onboard the Celebrity Edge.
LEGO® AR Playgrounds
The LEGO® AR Playgrounds app uses ARKit to bring LEGO characters to life amid physical LEGO sets. Players can place digital LEGO characters and blocks in real-world environments; their digital creations can also interact with physical LEGO sets. ARKit provides multi-user support, so two people can play together in the same playground.
Nissan Mitsubishi worked with Visionaries 777 to create an AR experience to explore every detail of the INFINITI QX50, a premium midsize SUV, showcasing its head-turning design. Users can customize the vehicle by choosing paint colors, wheels, and other options as well as zoom in on the open door and view the inside of the car.
