Unity Technologies Honors the Best Content Being Created With Unity

Announces Award Winners of the 2010 Unity Awards

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - November 12, 2010 - Unity Technologies, provider of the Unity development platform for interactive 3D content on the web, mobile and console, announced the winners of the 2010 Unity Awards at the Awards Ceremony during Unite 2010, the company's fourth annual developer conference.

This year's winners are:

  • Grand Prix: Air Attack HD by Art In Games
  • Best Gameplay: Colorbind by Nonverbal
  • Best Visual Design: The Uncanny Fish Hunt by Uncanny Games
  • Best Mobile Game: Rimelands : Hammer of Thor by Dicework Games
  • Best Non-game: LoveMyHome by ILP

In addition Unity Technologies honored the following three Rising Stars -- all small or independent developers who are doing great work:

  • Uncanny Fish Fish Hunt by Uncanny Games
  • Pirates of New Horizons by Exit Strategy Entertainment
  • Crowned by Gregor Falk

The judging was done by the Unity team including several people who have entered or won Unity Awards in the past including Shawn White, Robert Cupisz and Kuba Cupisz. Shawn White, the emcee for this year's awards ceremony, has won multiple Unity Awards while working at Flashbang Studios and was honored to give back to the community as a recent hire at Unity Technologies.
