Yes, a Unity license is required to use MARS. Every subscription tier, including Personal, is supported.
Every Unity plan supports MARS. However, regardless of your plan, access to MARS is by paid subscription.
MARS includes a free trial period of 45 days, after which access to MARS is by annual subscription, billed at either $50/month or $600/year.
No, the MARS editor extension is not currently a cloud-based product.
Floating licenses are not available at this time.
Unity MARS is officially supported by 2019.3 and will soon be compatible with 2019 LTS and 2020.1.
AR Foundation is the preferred method for bringing real-world understanding into Unity MARS at runtime. Unity MARS officially supports AR Foundation 2.1.8 and closely follows preview and verified AR Foundation packages.
MARS shares some technology with Unity Reflect, but these are currently independent Unity products.
Yes, you can import scanned and modeled environments for use as MARS simulation environments.

When you purchase MARS, you will be provided with MARS_Installer.unitypackage. Open Unity and import by going to Assets > Import Package > Custom package...
