Unity Technologies Recognizes the Best Games and Apps Created With Unity in Annual Awards Ceremony

Unity Technologies began the Unity Awards to honor the developers creating the best video games and interactive 3D applications using the Unity development platform. This year's winners are:

  • Best Gameplay - Rochard by Recoil Games
  • Best Graphics - Rochard by Recoil Games
  • Best Cross-platform Game - Buddy Rush by Team Sollmo of Company 100
  • Best Student Game - GLiD by Spiderling
  • Best Non-game - Virtual History Roma by Mondadori

The judging for the awards was done by the Unity Technologies team over a series of weeks. Nominees were whittled down to the few most impressive finalists and then voted on in a blind poll.

Open nominations for the next Unity Awards will begin in the summer of 2012.
