Unite Southeast Asia 2016: Unity Technologies Developer Conference Comes to Singapore

Tickets for Region's Largest Gathering of Unity Developers Now Available; Conference Will Also Host Unity Certified Developer Exam

 

SINGAPORE--Sep 20, 2016 - Unity Technologies, the leading platform for creating games and experiences in 2D, 3D, VR and AR, today announced Unite Southeast Asia will be hosted in Singapore, with support from the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA). Developers, artists, publishers, training providers, and Unity enthusiasts will convene for two days of talks, networking, and training October 3-4 at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands. Registration is now open.

Drawing from a 5M+ member strong community worldwide, Unite conferences provide attendees of all kinds -- from students to indies to AAA studios -- the opportunity to learn about all aspects of game development and business from international experts and peers. Day one opens with a keynote featuring Unity and invited speakers, before breaking into sessions across multiple tracks, including: Technical Workshops; Animation, Platform and VC; Commercial and Marketing. Day two tracks include: Productivity; Design; Cross Industry. The conference will also include a Made With Unity showcase displaying amazing games and projects from local developers. 

Also included with conference registration is the opportunity to take the Unity Certified Developer Exam on October 3*. The Unity Certified Developer Program provides an invaluable resource for developers, serving to demonstrate standard proficiency and ensure high quality teams and products. The Unity Certified Developer Exam covers foundational skills for video game design and development with Unity, and helps distinguish job-seekers and professionals in this competitive field.
